CBS released a couple videos of Russell H, the evil genius that everyone is going to hate by the second or third episode, or maybe you’ll hate him after you watch these videos.

Wow. This season is going to be interesting.

    I THINK Russell is planted and paid to be there by producers and it really turns me off and can’t stomach to watch it anymore. He needs to get off now. I have always watched every episode of all survivors…but it is too fake to beleive..pouring water out…finding the immunity idol withno clues.. Come on, we aren’t stupid!

    russell’s my fav so far. i mean, the dude’s an evil genius. n he’s got everyone in a bind without anyone ever being able to successfully doubt him. it’s either he’s really good at running things in a dictatorial way (not surprising for an oil guy), or his tribe is really dumb; or both. with russell s. out, i frankly haven’t seen anyone who’ll challenge him for the million bucks so far

    This season has been somewhat disappointing. The best part of the show has been the challenges, and some episodes have only had one challenge. Watching the contestants dealing with the rain has been boring. This week’s episode didn’t even have a full challenge, and in our family’s opinion, Foa Foa was robbed of its pizza! We will keep watching, but would love more challenges. Go Natalie!

    I didnt like him much at first. Mean people suck.
    I really like him now though!
    He has really got his game face on in a big way! His stratagy seemes to be working for him.
    I wonder what he is like in real life, with his family

    You jumped the shark this season because of Russell. I had some past Survivor seasons on my netflix queue until last thursday night and then I went and removed them, because of Russell. It annoys the hell out of me the way you’re using this jerk, with his pathological way of treating women. I have a theory that the producers are planting the idols for him, and every time he’s found one to save his fat little ass has made me like and respect the show that much less. I will not be watching next thursday. You’ve lost me.

    Russell is great! At first I hated him. Now he is so smart in the way he plays the game. Come on 3 idols without any clues. ( OK 1 picture of a rock). The comments he makes may be hurful, but if the truth hurts???

    LOL… couldn’t agree more with those who notice that Russel is the most entertaining and cunning Survivor ever… he loves the camera and the camera loves him.

    As for those who disagree with Russel and profess hatred of him and label him as evil… hide your water canteens, socks and IP addresses! … if you hear a knock at your door don’t answer it :-)

    Kudos to you Terry. You are the only person besides myself who is convinced that all this Russell stuff is a complete sham. I have believed it since he has so easily found those idols. There’s a “fly in the ointment” somewhere. How on earth could someone find even the first two idols without a single clue?

    I have officially turned my DVR for Survivor off. I watched Survivor to see people compete, not to watch the Russell show. We didn’t even get to know Kelly or why she was voted off. This is boring
    This whole thing is a shame. In the past the hidden immunity idols were hidden and the contestants needed clues, to swim to another island, look in the shade of a tree, dig etc. to find them. Now they are just where the producers tell Russell to look. Dave lost Russel during a in the chase, but the camera and sound man managed to keep up. Give me a break. I don’t really mind it being scripted, just don’t be so obvious. I’m gone and I had to find a place to tell you.

    I think the answer to your question was first posited by Dr. Henry Jones (not the senior), who was lucky enough to stumble on several artifacts of great antiquity. Others have been amazed to come across antiquities such as “The Lost Sea” Scrolls,” that “1974 genuine copper penny,” and “the arc of the covenant”… oh yea wait a minute… that last one hasn’t been found yet… CBS and Russel Hantz take note… this could be a great new Reality Series – just hook Russel up with a team of archeologists, give him an unfound target… and presto… HUGE RATINGS!

    i thought the same thing about russell when i first saw him. i thought this guy is gonna get his ego so far out that hes gonna get caught up in it, but now with only about 8 left in the show, he has truly proved to be in the top 5 best players of the game. He has single handedly found 3 immunity idols, WHAT A FUCKIN BADASS, how can you hate the guy at this point, hes put up one hell of a fight.

    Russel , the guy I hate to love . He is playing the game and he is playing it well .

    Ok, Russel is my by far my favourite! He is deffenintly going to win!! He has so much power over everyone, And finding all the idols. I want him to win so bad, And i know he is going to win, Because ANYONE he wants off, He gets off. And last weeks preformance totattly stated that. GO RUSSEL
